how do i connect to the internet through my vzw phone via bluetooth? (i have the motorola v710 if that helps)

I have a powerbook G4 and the same phone (got it the day it came out!) and I too asked this question. The verizon rep said you need a data cable to attach the two. I don't think you can go online via bluetooth. But then, he might have been wrong.

I have the motorola v600 through cingular wireless and I had the same problem this spring. There is a piece of software you need from your wireless provider or directly from motorola. However, they did not have a mac version as of this May. Good luck. Let me know if you find a solution because I found it really frustrating too. I currently use virtual PC for my travels and it works ok, it's just ugly.
