    network problems
I am having a problem with my network.

I have a simple network, two wireless computers and a router.

I have a mac book, gateway desktop and a linksys router.

I am trying to map a network drive from my mac to my pc (to get files from my pc to my mac).

I can ping the router from my mac, I can ping the router from my pc, I can ping the mac from my pc, but I can't ping my pc from my mac.

Can anyone explain why I can ping the mac from my pc but can't ping the pc from my mac?

Can some settings on my mac be causing the problem (but then the pc shouldn't be able to ping the mac)?

    Any help will be great.

Let me know if you need more details.
