    Bittorrent locking router?
Hey everyone. When I download a few Bittorrent files (3+) at once, my router would eventually freeze and stop working. I would then have to restart my router by turning the power on and off to get it to start working again.

Is my router freezing because my bittorrent client is filling up the NAT tables? What is the problem and how do i fix it?

    Thanks

    iMac 2010 27" QuadI7 OSX10.11, iMac 2008 OSX10.11, MBP Late2011OSX10.11 , iPhone 3GS Note 8!
More info please. What router is it? Model and brand. There are some routers that have a Reputation for doing just that with heavy BT.

    Specs:
    20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
My D-Link usewd to do this, and I found that it was just a heat issue.
I moved it to a better ventilated spot, and it's been fine since. It may occasionally freeze now, but it's rare.
