Trouble connecting Imac to Internet
- Member Since

I recently purchased an Imac, which is connected to my ADSL modem (Billion 743GE) via an ethernet cable.
Intermittently, though often enough that it is annoying, I am having a problem with Safari connecting to the network as it reports it can not find the server.
I am running the PC alongside and which access' the internet through the same modem without an issue.
Is there some configuring that I need to attend to? The fact that it works somethimes, then at other thimes it doesn't.
I run the network diagnotics program, which sometines shows the "Internet" and "Server" are not working.
I am at a loss and would appreciate any advice on offer, as I want to clear my desk of the PC, though this is a real stumbling block to ditching the PC.
