    Slow internet fix
for those of you who have had trouble with internet in osx. If your like me and run windows linux and mac systems you might notice that the internet can sometimes feel allot slower in osx, after going through everything one small and easy fix i found was my routers default mtu setting was at 1500 which is good for pc and bad for mac and ppc linux boxes.. lower this setting to 1450 and smaller " chunks" of data are sent. but your speed browsing should increase...

My wireless internet connection has been sluggish since I updated to 10.4.10 on my macbook. My windows desktop (on wireless) is fine. The latest airport update for osx in August made things a bit better though. I'm not sure if your fix will work, but it's definetely worth a shot. Thanks for the post.
