    Error36 and large contiguous files
    Hello all,
I have an Airport Extreme (new gigabit version) and every time I try to transfer/backup large files 3.5 gig and larger I get an Error 36. For example when backing up using SuperDuper the process crashes when it tries to backup the Parallels folder. I have tried transferring TV shows I recorded but with little luck.

    My specs.
    OSX 10.4
    MBP
    Vista Box hardwired
500gig Seagate Free Agent external drive (USB 2.0)

Sorry I was going to ask if anyone had a work around or suggestion on how to avoid this.

Ok so I changed the file format on the network drive to HFS+ from FAT32. Large files transfer with no problem now. The Windows box is running MacDrive and it works really quite well.
