YAHOO!! I just did it - not sure how but I did it! Thanks to all the little bits and pieces I read on here, something must have sunk in! Anyway I can now see my pc shared folder on my imac. Isnt it grand..

congratulations!!!!!! i had a hard time at first. i found that it takes 3-5 minutes for the shares to show up on the mac. keep that in mind when you reboot either one of them.
