Hi - can anyone please help!
Yesterday I installed a new wireless network using a Netgear DG834N wireless router. I have a PC and a Powerbook G4 and new dual core MacBook connected. All is working fine in terms of general web browsing. However, Software Update cannot connect to download updates. Also, Itunes will not connect to the store (to authorise any of the computers - error (-1001). I am connecting to the router via WEP Encryption strength 64bit These are my router settings Firmware Version V1.01.06 ADSL Port MAC Address 00:1B:2F:3D:FA:8B IP Address 87.102.18.140 Network Type PPPoA IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.255 Gateway IP Address 87.102.18.254 Domain Name Server 212.50.160.100 213.249.130.100 LAN Port MAC Address 00:1B:2F:3D:FA:8A IP Address 192.168.0.1 DHCP On IP Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Modem ADSL Firmware Version A2pB021.d19e Modem Status Connected DownStream Connection Speed 2304 kbps UpStream Connection Speed 288 kbps VPI 1 VCI 50 Wireless Port Name (SSID) Home Region Europe Channel AUTO Wireless AP Enabled Broadcast Name Enabled |
