Ok, I have two computers on my desk sharing one printer. I have to share it through the Windows machine, since the printer has no available drivers for MAC yet, and I cannot even use generic ones.
So as of right now, I am sharing it by enabling the LDP/LPR thing in windows, and on the mac, I open the printer utility and then IP printer, then enter the ip address of the windows machine. It works most of the time, but sometimes it just doesn't... What happens if the Windows machine IP changes... then ill have to keep updating the information on the mac!.. AHHH!! Is there anyways I can do this an easier way? W |
