just got my macbook, and airport express to play airtunes.

how do i change the name of the airport express as it shows on my computer,

and how do I add the airport express as a client to my already existing router?

run airport setup assistant

There will be an option when you run airport setup assistant to join the Airport Express to an exisiting wireless network.. There is also a setting there to change the SSID name which will change the name on your machine. If you're looking at changing how it appears in iTunes, there is also this option during the setup.
