    Internet Password Problem
    Hi all! I am at a friends house at the moment and im trying to connect to his wireless internet connection, when im typing the WRIGHT password it says its incorrect, i know it works since a other friend of mine is here also, and his works with same connection and password. I use wireless connection at home and have never had a problem, please help! Thanks.

    Well if you're typing the RIGHT password, then I'm not sure what could be wrong. What kind of wireless router is it?

    What type of encryption? Does he have MAC filtering enabled?

    You really need to give us as much technical detail as possible. If it's WEP is he giving you the ASCII or HEX password?

    It is WEP, i dont know what kind it is. WE have no idea what MAC filtering is.

    WEP has an ASCII and HEX password. Be sure you're using the ASCII one.

    Try changing the password type to wpa
