Macbook - Wireless internet

with PC u get wireless internet by just finding a hotspot and connecting to it. can you do that with macs too? like i have a linksys one at home can i use that for a mac?

Yes. I believe all current Mac models come with what is known as the AirPort card, which is an 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

yeah. go sit in some subdivision and click the connection signal in the top bar. a list of all different routers to connect to will pop up
