Hi all,
I've just gone wireless with a netgear wifi router/modem and seem to have very little range (4 yards/metres) and was wondering if it was the airport card firmware that could be an issue. When I last used it on my powerbook g4 with an old (5 years) airport base station I got excellent range, even outside and our walls are a metre/yard thick and stone. I've looked at apple/downloads but none of it makes much sence, my systems profiler tells me I have version 405.1 (3.90.34.0.p18) firmware but this does not seem to relate to any info on the apple site. Any help would be and and thanks in advance.
Regards,
Richard
p.s. my Netgear ADSL router/modem is DG834N
QUOTE Thanks
