All the stores up here in Alaska have said it would be several weeks before Airport Extream would be in stock, so I was considering getting an Airport Express instead. I read several reviews that said you could not set up an external harddrive on the "Express", (strike one).

Then I read a couple of reviews that said the HP C3180 Printer was not compatible with the Express. That is precisely the printer that I bought from apple at Christmas time!

Is this true? And if so does anyone know if the C3180 is compatible with the Airport Extream?

I have one, and an airport express, so i'll try it and let you know. But I would assume that the scanner and memory card functions won't work with the Express.
