I remember coming across a hint for this recently, but can't seem to find it anywhere now.

Is there a way to stop my mac creating loads of "." and "._" files on my windows share when I browse it? I'm sure there was an option to disable the creation of these files on network shares, but for the life of me I can't find it again.
