Hello. I've got an eMac, about three years old, and use BT Broadband. I'd like to set up a wireless system, primarily for using kit from the likes of Roku and/or Squeezebox, but also for, perhaps, a Powerbook, too.
Who recommends what? Do I need a network card, as well as a router? Many, many thanks for any answers. |

A wireless router AND modem (the BT one never cuts it) so I'd suggest a Netgear DG834G which is an all in one and is fantastic. It's all you'll ever need. A wireless card or dongle for your Mac. I don't know the eMac, so don't know if it can support an internal card, but I imagine it could handle an external USB dongle. Can anyone confirm or correct me on that one? |
