Loss of network

Mac Specs: iMac 21.5" 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 500 Gb HD OS X 10.10.1; iPad Mini iOS 8.1.2;iPhone 4s iOS 8.1.2

Alwyn is offline
RESOLVED by itself!

Since upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion I find that I can no longer access the other iMac on my network nor can i see the printers on it.

How can I resolve this?
