So I've got all my favorites set up in Google Chrome and the icons by all of the websites is really boring. Is there anyway to change the icons next to the websites in my favorites bar?

Thanks!

Not that I know of. There are several utilities in Windows which can change the "Favcons" that are created by websites, but I haven't seen anything similar for OS X. Maybe someone else may know of a way or a third party utility.

basically when you save a bookmark, go to another site, then go back.

example.

bookmark facebook...go to google...then back to facebook. The icon should change.

Those are called "favcons" and created by the website. We know all that..... he's asking how to change them from what the website displays. In other words, put his own icon in place of the one created by the website. See my reply above.
