Help! Networking MAC & Windows 7

I have a Macbook Air and a Windows 7 laptop on the same wireless home network. From the MAC I can see and access all the folders and files on the PC. However the MAC does not appear on the PC. I have tried various suggestion to no avail. I have set up file sharing on both computers.

Any advice most welcome.

Have you tries this option

System Preferences > Sharing > File Sharing > OPtions > Share files and folders using SMB (Windows)
