What kind of speeds do you lose if you back up wirelessly?

Seems like it wouldn't matter if you just set up TimeMachine to back up all the time.

But if you wanted to transfer a huge file, it would take a long time.

Just wondering the speeds, vs plugging in an external drive...

It's actually pretty fast for me. With Wireless 802.11n 1 GB only takes like few minutes. It was super slow on 802.11g >_<" Took like 20hrs or something. >_>
