So I just bought an Airport Extreme today, once i got it set up it keeps telling me the airport extreme can't find a router address. Has anybody had this issue or had to fix it in the past. the internet works fine when i connect it directly to my mac book pro, so i know it isn't an internet issue.

thanks

If I remember right, it's just about the sequencing. Unplug the power to the AE, then unplug the power to your modem. Plug your modem back in and wait til it gets fully powered on and then plug the power back to your AE. That should fix it.

I'm assuming you've got a green light on your AE and everything got set up successfully. You didn't say.

Sorry, what was unfortunate about it?? Did it correct your problem or not?
