Hi Everyone,

Trying to figure out how to open a port for a NAS box on my network with the Port Mapping Setup Assistant. The port # is 9000 if it helps. Thanks!!

Assuming you NAS has a static LAN IP

Select Advanced > Port Mapping

Click +

Under Public TCP and Private TCP you would enter 9000 as the port number and specify the LAN IP of the NAS under Private IP.

Though 9000 is a non standard port for file sharing you may need to revisit what ports you are opening. Default AFP is 548 and SMB is 445. 9000 sounds more like the web interface.
QUOTE Thanks
