I have a China Bird usb modem ( I am in Guatemala and using Tigo cellular service ) and it works with my Imac and my old G4
I want to use it on my macmini (ver 10.7) I do not want to set up a network. when i connect it I can see the Icon on the desktop. Clicking on Icon takes me to MAC installation.
Clicking on install it tells me that no modem is connected and I should do so now. It then disappears.
Any suggestions

What version of OSX is on the iMac and G4? It sounds like there is no support for 10.7 Lion. Will check around and see what I can find.
