Hello,

I've just purchased the new Time Capsule 2TB, and wanted to try dropping some files into it. However, it says that the Time Capsule cannot be modified and wouldn't let me drop files into it. Is there any way I could solve this problem, or is the Time Capsule strictly for backup?

The Time Capsule can be used as a large hard drive without being used for backup. I am doing that right now with a number of media files.

Not sure exactly what is causing your problem. Have you password protected the drive during the initial setup? That can easily be done as part of the manual setup process.
