Hi all,
Just recently I purchases an Airport express and I've been having some trouble setting it up. The instructions say to open Airport Utility after installing it from the disk and once installed I should see the Airport Express along with the other wireless devices. Here is the screen shot: Other times it has spontaneously appeared in along with the other wireless devices, but asking for a password. I tried the generic password "public" and that did not work. It also occurred to me that there is a reset button, maybe I'm not doing it right, but it also has not worked. Please let me know if you have any advice and/or articles on this. There is a big difference in Airport Express and Airport Extreme routers. Decide which you have and read the instructions. Also Airport Preferences are different than the Airport Utility in applications/utilities. I eventually had to call support to get it resolved.
