I've searched six pages of this forum for an answer, none forthcoming.

Background
Since the series of serious>severe earthquakes that have hit my home province of Canterbury in New Zealand, the local authorities have set up several wifi hotspots for use by people whose homes have been made uninhabitable or otherwise do not have their usual means of connecting to the internet.

Is there wifi locator software for Leopard OS?

I've checked with Google, plus Apple's Widget resource base, but everything seems to require Snow Leopard minimum. My Macbook is operating Leopard 10.5.8. Can someone advise me about locating wifi hotspots with Leopard OS?

Won't iStumbler work in leopard?

If the current version only works on SL let me know. I have here that works on 10.5.

Thank you both, I've downloaded the suggested software, and will try it/them out in due course. Interestingly, I drove slowly through a small town centre today and the MacBook located about 8 w'less connections, most of them locked, plus a couple of subscription connections. A lot of learning going on here.
