Right now I've got an external hard drive connected via USB to my (brand new) Mac Mini. I have file sharing on. I have selected the drive and shared it. When I try to connect to it using my Macbook the only thing that appears is the Mini's shared folder. I can read and write to the drive from both my Mini and my Macbook (edit: when it's connected via usb) so I assume it's formatted correctly. What am I missing?
I've heard that I might need to upgrade to an Airport Extreme to do this... hope that's not the case. Thanks for any help! |
