Hello everyone,

I am looking to purchase a wifi adapter for a my power mac g5 which is running 10.5.8, it doesnt need to be external or internal, all that matters is whether it works or not, and the price.

thanks in advanced

My recommendation for a PMG5 tower is to get an Airport Express, connect it via ethernet to the PMG5, and the airport will connect wirelessly to your internet. It's basically backwards to how it normally works, but should work fine. The previous gen Airport Expresses are selling on Apple's site now for $69.

Make sure you get the correct model G5 before you go shopping for an Airport card if that is your choice. Dual Cores use a combined Bluetooth/Airport card and with mountings and stand offs they are not cheap.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
