I bought this network adapter extremely cheaply on ebay. I realize this was a mistake now because after it came I found it didn't come with the drivers and another site was offering it cheaper with the drivers.

I've gotten some advice from a friend that these cards are just terrible but I am still willing to get it to work.

I'm running mac 10.3.9. is there a driver package download I can use? maybe even the specific driver somewhere out there?

if this does not work I am probably going to have to spend the money and get an air port. Just saying so nobody wastes a reply reading "just get an airport".

Ralink RT2870/RT2770/RT307X/RT2070/RT3572 USB Network driver 3.0.0.0 software 32836

[edit]
the one thing I did that believe to be important :
The program that comes with the drivers is garbage. it's clunky and slow and may have potential to cause crashes.
once the drivers are installed the computer will recognize a new ethernet port. just use that.

works so far.

Hate to tell you this xanO have never ever found Mac compatible Ralink drivers that work alas.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
