I have a 6 month old MacBook Pro and have used both wireless and ethernet connections to the net using a variety of new modems/routers incl. Time capsule and Airport. These have been used on an older MacBook with no problems.
I have therefore come to the conclusion that the problem is with my MacBook. All the normal system checks have been carried out i.e. Virus checks - Permissions repaired - Disc checked - Safari reset - O/S updated to 10.6.6 and all connection settings checked and correct. In System Preferences all appears to be connected but my internet comes and goes on a regular basis. If there is any kind person with the time and expertise to advise me their help would be much appreciated. Kind regards |
