Hi

Really struggling and hope someone out there can help me.

I recently bought the new macbook pro in the states. Now returned to UK and finding that network connectivity with airport is atrocious.

Trawled through various places and find mixed messages about channels (up to 11, then 12 & 13 etc etc) and also country codes - currently set as X0 where friends are GB.

This is how things look in System Profiler...

Is there anything I can do. Surely I havent spent all this money on a macbook that has next to no use to me wirelessly???!!! There must be something I can do.

Are there any settings or upgrades I should look into?

Do I need a new card and if so is that an expensive option?

I truly appreciate your help and thank you in advance for any support anyone can offer.
