I have a Win7 PC, a Vista PC, and a Mac Book Pro. I'm looking for a NAS that will work with them all.
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ as it appears to meet all my needs. Because the MBP will connect via wireless, I'm not comfortable nor planning on using it as a time machine...I have a firewire 1TB drive for that. My question: is there anything I need to do to make it work with my MBP? |

Use Netgear modem/router but not familiar with that model storage unit. Go to Netgear's web site where manuals are available for download and check things out. Here is the link:-
http://www.netgear.co.uk/desktop_net...ge_rnd4425.php Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
