Renaming an Airport Network

I have set up an Airport naming it with my own personal name. I would like to rename this with something more generic. Can someone please explain to me how to do this..... most appreciated.

Which Airport base station do you have? I can link you to the right manual to show you how to do it, or you can head to Apple - Support to find it also.

Thanks for responding schweb.
I have an Airport Express Base Station. Hope that is enough info - it is all I can find on the unit. If you can point me to the appropriate manual that would be great. I the meantime, I will have a look around Apple Support. Thanks in advance.

I have not found the appropriate manual and would still love some help to rename the network set up on my Airport Express Base Station.
