Every night my internet goes out. The solution is to unplug the router and plug it back in. Why is my router needing me to do this? Sometimes I have to reset my modem and sometimes my expander. Recently its been only the router that needs reset. Its a Cisco/Linksys

My Linksys router needs to be routinely rebooted to get it's wireless connection up..the hard-wired connections seem to stay..make sure that you are running the latest firmware version for that router..

What is your "expander"? Are you using a range extender of some sort?

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Maybe the problem is with your ISP (Internet Service Provider)...somewhere at the street level...and/or if you have a cable modem supplied by your ISP...maybe you need a replacement.
