Cannot connect or find Canon MP560 wirelessly

I recently got my first macbook pro and also got the canon MP560 printer with it as well. I'm trying to connect to the printer wirelessly but I am having difficulties doing so, if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Canon has some good instructions for connecting your printer wireless. Have you followed them completely? Also make sure you have the latest software and drivers for the printer. I suggest going to the Canon site and check to make sure you have the latest.

Canon also recommends hooking the printer up first via USB before you attempt to connect wireless.
