Heres the story:

Have an iBook Clamshell Indigo running Macos 10.1.5 (Puma).
Bought an original airport card. Didn't work after install. Reinstalled it. Still not working. Found software for it on Apple website. The airport card was detected, but I couldn't connect to networks.
Came to work today, with it to try it on the network. The airport card is no longer detected.

Help!

I remember these cards being difficult to seat properly in their slot, and the airial lead needed to be pushed in hard until it clicks in place.

Other than that, they will only connect to WEP as they don't support WPA encryption.

Lastly, you may have a duff card.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

Hugh
