I have my G4 setup about 6ft. from my wireless router with no encryption seeing as how the config programme in the G4 didn't even want to attempt touching the WEP. Now the G4 has 2 bars and drops constantly. My Windows laptop that's further away never drops and is super fast online compared to this thing. Any ideas?
I'm running OS 10.5.8 maxed out memory, 1.25 dual core. Original Airport card, router on mixed B &G mode, I've also changed the frequency on the router a few times and still have the same problems. |
