IMAC 24" is my main computer and connects ok to internet via ethernet port to D-Link DIR-615 wireless router then into a cable modem connected to Virgin 50MB service (installed today). IMAC also works ok via airport wireless connection. However, experience problems trying to connect an HP C3680 printer to the wireless network via the D-Link DIR-615 wireless router. Using the printers wireless set up wizard, the HP printer cannot see/locate the wireless network SSID. Is this a compatibility problem between the HP printer and the D-Link router? Any suggestions welcome as I have tried a number of things, none of which seem to work.

Probably not. I have an HP C6350 and a D-Link DIR-655, slight differences in model numbers, but very similar devices.
Do you have the SSID hidden on the router? Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |
