    Dualband Airport Extreme doen't see Old Airport extreme "g"
    I apologized if this has been asked before.

    I'm trying to connect an old airport extreme "g" to my xbox by Ethernet cable, and wirelessly to my dual band airport extreme, both AE's are on different floors of my house. How can i do this?would it work?Can i extend the "g" band??

    Make sure that you do not have n only set in the new Extreme and set to join(for wireless application) also make sure they are on the same channel 1,6 and 11 seem to work best as they do not overlap, if you do
    extend it will have to be connected by ethernet.
