I just bought a used iBook G3 off of eBay but I didn't think to check out whether or not it had a wireless Airport card.

I hear they're expensive, so I'm kind of freaking out over here.

I already have a Cisco-Linksys router (I'm currently making the switch from Windows to Mac).

I was just wondering whether I can still connect wirelessly to my router as I did before with my Windows Laptop.

Again, I don't have an Airport card. So... do I have to buy one? Or will it simply connect?

Thank you SO much for your time. I'm trying to figure this out before my computer arrives.

No problem if your iBook is a Firewire model, as the Airport Card was very much an optional extra. It is always better to give machine specs to get exact information. The original 802.11b Airport Card fits Firewire G3 iBooks, and is available here:-

Apple original Airport wifi wireless card Guaranteed! - eBay (item 320467135467 end time Jan-02-10 00:20:36 PST)

That for sure will take the old Airport Card. Harry gave you a URL above.

Here are the specs and some info on your machine.

And the URL is a very fair price. The seller has sold thopusands and thousands of articles for a 97% satisfied customer rating which is reassuring.
