harvesting built in airport from ibook
    Hi there,

My old ibook G4 (mid 2005) was run over by a car and doesn't go. I was hoping to rip the wireless card out and put it into a PowerBook G4. However, I have pulled the ibook apart and can't find it.

The iBook came with wireless, so it isn't one of those removable cards.

Does anyone know which bit the wireless card is (not one of those removable ones that goes under the keyboard)?

And can I rip it out and throw it in my Powerbook G4?

    Cheers,

    Grant

Nope, can't do it. First, they're two totally different cards. Second, they're not cards, they're on the system board.
