WEP is a dead security standard for WiFi.
Most routers made in the last 5 or 6 years support WPA, which is much easier to setup, faster in use, and more reliable overall. Open the manual for your wireless router and reference the section on setting up security. It should give you the details on how to access its configuration webpage and change the settings to WPA. Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |
