Undercover is providing you with valuable information. It's up to you to work with your local police department to try and recover the machine. The addresses given should pinpoint where the machine is. I strongly advise you to not take matters into your own hands and let law enforcement do it for you.

I can well understand how you feel but the police department of such a large city as NY probably has lots on their hands....

If the machine is insured, you may be able to get more help from your insurance company to recover it.

Good luck. I sincerely hope you get your machine back.

    Regards.

Of course they have a lot on their hands, as do I. However I would like to do the researching ( if i can) to pinpoint the laptop more accurately using this information. Then relay this to the police. As I have found both NYPD and Undercover unsuccessful in doing. I'm no vigilante, but I want my laptop back!
