Finally i got my new Airport Extreme basestation and i want to replace my old Linksys Router (Linksys Compact Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54GC).
anyone knows how the settings could be done ? in the Airport Setup Assistant and set it up using the "I use DSL or cable modem using PPP over Ethernet (PPoE)", which appears to be the only appropriate choice, I get the message "Looking for PPoE Host" but the basestation doesn't connect to anything ? p.s. i believe that i dont need a modem coz my old linksys doesnt have one and it works. __________________ Macmini | Intel 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo | 1Gb Ram | 120Gb Hard drive | Leopard 10.5.8. iPhone | Black | 16Gb | OS 3.0. |
