hello all

I've never had a mac in my life and my girlfriend has got me one she bought second hand it has an ariport card in it and all as i've been trying to check the net for answers but i am lost i really need some step by step help i'll give all the info i can get

version is mac osz1-9.2.2
built in memory is 256 mb
virtual memory 257mb used on mac hd
lagest unused block 213.4mb
mac os rom 8.9.1

that what it says under about this computer

and it shows some kind of wireless hubs around the neighbourhood ours hasnt got a password but each time i try to conect to it asks for a password

anyhelp would be great thanks as i would like to get the wireless working if its possible do i need anything extra

well any ideas out there or is there a wirless dongle that i can buy for this ibook that supports os9.2 or is it posible to upgrade the os
