As with many Q's of this type there is a whole raft of possibilities. First i see u have an iBook - u r first owner or it has been preowned and if so did u do a clean install of OS or just continue with what was on it. When connecting wirelessly is it set to Location - Automatic, as it has been with umpteen other owners. Cannot help with Sky broadband someone else will need to comment on that.
