I have mybook HD ( time machine backup hard drive) connected to Airport Extreme by usb.
the airport utilites> disks shows that the HD is connected.
shows capacity and User=0

It looks as if its connected but the "UPDATE" button on that pane is dimmed.

how do I make my time machine backs up to "Mybook" HD via the airport extreme?
thank you for helping me

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
