Built-in Router for G5?Re: Power Mac G5 Quad 11.2 version 10.4.5 build 8F46
I am new to using routers and would like to know if the above computer has a router built into it. Within network settings, a router number and ethernet id number does appear. My only application for the router is an Internet radio player. I would also like to know where to locate the frequency on which the built-in router (assuming there is one) operates, such as 2.4 GHz. I haven't found that information within network settings.
Thanks for any tips.

The G5 has built-in wireless card, but not a router. The router is the thing that plugs into the internet and gives you wireless internet; that is what the G5's wireless card connects to. The frequency is at 2.4ghz,
