Remote Accessing Laptop on different Network

Ive read a few articles on how to do it using iChat using her IP address. I have her IP address but is that her laptop address or is that the IP address for the entire school. Will I be able to connect right to her laptop through her schools network with that address? Sorry if this is a bit strange but I'm sitting at home on a rainy day and I'm a bit bored. Thanks! |
