Please excuse my ignorance, i am in uncharted territory...networking...

i have hooked up a wireless router (Netgear). It is working great. My mac tower can see the three other PCs on the wireless network.

My problem is that they can not see my computer and i don't know how to fix it. Is it something on the mac side, or pc, or both.

Any help would be appreciated!
Tim

The Mac can see the PC's only if File Sharing is turned on, and the Firewall (if enabled) is set to allow file sharing.

Usually by enabling File Sharing, the appropriate Firewall ports are enabled.

(Go>server in Finder menu)
